Smart-Home Installation Technician — Field

Install smart-home kits in customer homes across the GTA. Each day you'd hit 2–4 homes from the dispatch app — wall-mount a TV, run low-voltage cable through attics / crawlspaces, set up a mesh Wi-Fi network, pair smart locks, cameras, and thermostats. Role - Drive a company van (provided; G-class license required) - Cable-run through walls — fish tape, drywall patch, cleanup to spec - Configure routers, Hubitat / SmartThings / HomeKit hubs - Explain usage to the customer at the end of the job - Keep your van inventory + paperwork in order You need - Full G license + clean abstract (we run a check) - 1+ year installer experience (cable, satellite, solar — anything trade-adjacent counts) - Comfort in tight attic spaces, on ladders, around live electrical (low-voltage only — no panel work) - Basic networking (DHCP, VLAN optional)
