Electronics Repair Technician — Service Bench

Our GTA service depot handles 200+ customer devices per week — laptops, tablets, game consoles, TVs, and increasingly smart-home hubs. We need a repair tech who's comfortable with a soldering iron, a multimeter, and customer-facing write-ups. Typical day - Diagnose intake: component-level when worth it, board-swap when not - Micro-solder 0402 / 0603 passives + IC replacement - Reflow BGAs on a rework station - Document repairs in our work-order system + photograph before/after - Liaise with the manufacturer for in-warranty claims Must-haves - Certificate in electronics / electromechanical engineering OR 2+ years bench-repair experience - Comfort with ESD protocol + lead-free solder - Can read schematics + board-views (Louis-Rossmann-style diag) - Steady hands, good eyes, patience for 4-hour diagnostics
